Popular Comic Actor, Hafiz Oyetoro aka Saka Debunks Spiritual Attack Rumour

Popular Comic actor, Hafiz Oyetoro aka Saka whose office in Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education Otto Awori, in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State got burnt down this month, February has debunked report making waves that it was as a result of spiritual attack.

Reacting to the report, Saka said : “I don’t believe it has to do with spiritual attack. I was not the only person affected by the incident. Offices of eight lecturers were burnt by the fire. I don’t think anything should be attached to it. That is life; life is full of challenges. You don’t dwell on bad occurrences.
As far as I am concerned, it has happened and there is nothing anybody can do about it. I only pray that God gives me the courage to go ahead and I am willing to go ahead. I thank God that no life went with it. My family is intact. The only thing is that I lost some property to the fire. I take it as one of the distractions of life.”

The MTN Ambassador who lectures at the Theatre Arts Department of the school lost valuables and properties worth millions of naira to the fire which was said to have started mysteriously on Thursday night, razing the entire Theatre Arts Department.
Although he's devastated, he's grateful to God no live was lost saying “What can I say, other than to thank God for the gift of life, because no live was lost in the inferno.
While lamenting on the documents lost he said: “I also lost my promotion letter, most painful was the fact that I was to submit some important documents for some international engagements but now this may not happen as the documents have also been lost to the inferno.
There are some that can never be retrieved like the research works that got burnt, tapes, laptops with vital information and contents, but I know God is in control,” he said.

Meanwhile the cause of the fire incident is not yet known, Saka however said, “a committee has been set up by the management of the school to find out the cause.”

Popular Nigerian Musician, Danny Young Involved In Car Accident.

Nigerian Musician, Danny Young is reported to have been involved in a car accident last night.

According to reports, the accident was said to have occurred on on Lagos-Ibadan express road near rainbow FM Drive after Danny Young, lost control of his sports car and collided with a 2011 Toyota Tacoma truck which resulted into fire.
Although Danny and crew lucky managed to escape through the windows and doors as other vehicle owners stopped by to render help by putting out the fire, his present condition is not certain but there are reports that Danny and his crew have been hospitalized in an undisclosed private hospital in Lagos.
Danny Young and his management are yet to make any comment regarding the accident.
Meanwhile the 'Omo Lepa' crooner who was scheduled to perform at the NYSC camp Shagamu last friday was absent for his performa nce as a result of  the accident.

Victor Valdes Sidelined For Months After Surgery On His Knee

The 32-year-old goalkeeper of the football club Barcelona Victor Valdes will be sidelined for 7 months after surgery on his right knee on Monday, the official statement on FCB website says.

Valdes was carried off the field on March 26 (3-0 win game against Celta Vigo) on the 22nd minute of the match, after the unfortunate landing on his knee.
As soon as the surgery was performed today in Germany, it was informed that the player will miss the remainder of the season and the World Cup.
Barcelona coach Gerardo Martino lamented over the team's bad luck at losing of one of the most prolific FC players as they entered two important phases of the two tournaments.

Fred Ajudua denied bail...again!

An Ikeja High court this morning denied suspected fraudster Fred Ajudua's bail application and has ordered that he be remanded in Kirirkiri prison. Ajudua had applied for bail to seek medical attention outside the prison.

 

Delivering her judgement, Justice Khudirat Jose said according to medical reports presented by LUTH & attached to his bail application, he'd been treated for enlarged prostrate gland, hypertension and traumatic Haematuria sometime in August 2013 and there was no where in the report that stated he could not be treated in prison for any ailment. She also added that Ajudua had failed to convince her that he would neither abscond during the trial period nor interfere with witnesses if he is granted bail.

 

Fred Ajudua is standing trial for defrauding two dutch businessmen of $1.69million and former Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Ishaya Bamaiyi, of  about $8.395m. The case was adjourned to April 28th.

The fraudulent tweet reading the singer is gay went viral on March 25. See it below:

An American actor, comedian, rapper, entrepreneur, record producer, radio, and television personality Nick Canon was a guest on Big Boy's Power 106 show.
When the radio host asked him to list five celebrities he has slept with, Nick did not hesitate to reveal the names.
He started off with his wife, super star singer Mariah Carey, mentioned singers Christina Milian and Nicole Scherzinger, ex-fiancée supermodel Selita Ebanks and, finally, TV star Kim Kardashian.
When Big Boy acted surprised and said he didn't know Nick had slept with Kim, Nick replied:

HE also talks about the Osaze situation and Ike Uche's exclusion while also revealing how Mikel won back his place before the 2013 AFCON.

Al Jazeera: Brazil 2014 is on the horizon. Nigerians are excited. You’ve set the bar high by winning the African Cup of Nations. What are your expectations for the summer?
Stephen Keshi: I just hope that my players are in good health. That’s key for us. Before the Mexico game [friendly], I lost Bright Dike and I would’ve loved to have him there. Now he’s out of the World Cup. After that, I’m just going to take it match by match.
AJ: Every player has glowing things to say about you. How does that make you feel as coach?
SK: I wasn’t aware of that since we’ve never been that close that we talk about such things. I’m very transparent with them. My oldest son is 31 so most of them could be my kid’s age. I have to be honest with them. I tell them the way I go about life beyond football because after they leave the sport, they need to know there’s another life, a very complex one, ahead.

Nigeria's defender, Efe Ambrose along with his club team-mates at Celtic clinched their 45th Scottish title in style as they eased to a 5-1 win over Partick Thistle at Firhill on Wednesday night.

"This is unquestionably the greatest league campaign I've had as a manager. We're the title favourites every season but we've been emphatic this year. Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi has revealed why he accepted to recall Stoke City attacker, Peter Odemwingie to the national team as the team continue its preparation for the 2014 World Cup holding in Brazil.

Keshi said: "Me and Osaze (Peter) have been speaking all the while when it was reported that we had issues. There was never any problem between us. It was the same thing with (Super Eagles captain), Joseph Yobo.
“It was just the media reporting that I had problems with Osaze and Yobo when we never had any problems at all.
“He (Odemwingie) has apologised to all Nigerians (who were hurt by his remarks on Twitter). He also said sorry to me. I have no problems with him. Everything is fine."

The Big Boss, who had come under scathing criticism in some sections of the press over his refusal to select the Villarreal striker for any of the matches Eagles played after the Nations Cup outing in South Africa, denied the allegations that he dropped Ikechukwu because they had disagreements on who will manage his career. 

 

Keshi made denial while facing the press at an event organised by Hotsports on behalf of Cadbury Nigeria on Tuesday. 

 

He said: "There's no way I'm not playing Uche because he didn't allow me be his manager, everything is not always about money.

"Equatorial Guinea offered me four times what Nigeria are paying me, if it is about money, I would have gone to them, money is never an issue.

 

"The fact is I cannot condone any player who is not there for the team. The Super Eagles is my life, anyone who is against the Super Eagles will face my wrath."

Keshi went on to add that football is a team game, and the chemistry of the team is more important than individual skills.

Breaking News: UEFA Punish Bayern Munich

European football governing body, UEFA, has ordered Bayern Munich to close part of their stadium for their Champions League match at home to Manchester United next month.

According to UEFA disciplinary committee decision, the Champions League defending champions will have to shut "Sector 124" of the Allianz Arena for the quarterfinal second leg match holding on April 9.
However, a statement released by UEFA on Monday did not give indication of which part of the stadium that section is located in or how many seats will be affected.
Uefa said fans showed "an illicit banner" during the round of 16 tie at home to Arsenal earlier this month.
It declined to give more details about the cause of the ban, although media photographs showed a group of fans with a homophobic banner aimed at Arsenal.
Apart from the stadium ban, the German club were also fined 10 000 euros ($13 800).

Wizkid Is Single Again: He Breaks Up With Girlfriend Tania Omotayo

Wizkid is single again. The Nigerian superstar singer, has confirmed the speculations that he has broken up with his long-time girlfriend,Tania Omotayo.
Wizkid revealed this on the ‘Drive-Time With Gbemi’ show on the Beat 99.9 FM, where he featured as a star guest, promoting his soon-to-be-released album entitled ‘Ayo’. When show host Gbemi Olateru questioned him on his relationship with Tania, (who has been showing signs that on social media that their love is currently suffering some strain), Wizkid was hesitant. He kept quiet for some seconds, and laughed awkwardly.
“My friend is fine. We’re cool, we’re cool. But I’m single now you know. Yeah, I’m single now. But it’s all love. I got love for her. She’s like my best friend anyways.” He replied the question.
This is sure to cause a stir among his fan base, because many had hoped that their relationship will lead to the altar.
Pulse.ng had earlier carried out investigations revealed that the source of the strain, which ended the relationship can be traced to Wizkid’s baby mama, Oluwashola Ogudugu, and how the “On Top Your Matter” crooner has been spoiling her silly including buying her a car, showering her with gifts and even placing her on the sum of N150, 000 for her upkeep and that of his son.
The first sign of trouble showed up when Shola posted the car Wizzy bought for her on her Instagram account, as well as other items like a new phone and Valentine gifts, which many see as her way of taunting Tania.
This move really got Tania mad and she also used her ownInstagram to send the following words:
“Just because you love someone so much, does not mean they are the right one for you.
To reply back, the Holla at Ur Boi singer posted a photo on hisInstagram page which asked for his relationship status and he chose:

Insiders reveal to us that Tania is not very comfortable with the way Wizkid is so besotted on his son and in retrospect, onShola, who is said to be at loggerheads with Tania for ‘snatching’ her man.
The insiders say that since Wizkid is absolutely obsessed with his son, there are chances he may even go back to Shola who herself, is a stunning beauty, coupled with the fact that their son is a cord that will forever bind them together.
Another close pal of Wizkid who knew about the problems, stated that Tania tried (too hard) to win over Wizkid by buying the son, Boluwatife so many gifts, knowing that Wizzy loves him dearly, but that got frustrated because the hip hop star placed the boy’s issues above hers.

Lol, the things you hear. Fuji star, Abass Akande aka Obesere has written a script centred around the rape scandal he was recently involved in and is presently shopping for actors who will interpret the role effectively.

Confirming this, his publicist Deola Adeoti said;

“The movie is targeted at unraveling the mystery behind the rape scandal. A whole lot of things have been said about him in the past few weeks, but I think this movie will tell the world the plain truth. Apart from his own experience, Obesere is aware of some men who had been blackmailed with this same scandal and he felt that it was high time he exposed some of these women of evil.”
