Jackie Chan’s Son Will Get None Of His $130 Million Fortune

Being the only son of international movie star Jackie Chan clearly comes with many privileges and advantages. Jackie Chan’s only child, a 30 year old son named Jaycee, lived a life filled with opulent mansions, luxurious vacations, expensive cars, the best education and much more. Jaycee was even been able to launch his very own singing and acting career thanks to his famous father. But there is one important thing that Jaycee will not receive from his father. Jackie Chan recently announced that upon his death, he will donate 100% of his $130 million fortune to charity and that his son Jaycee will be left out entirely…

While accepting an award in Beijing, Jackie was asked if Jaycee will inherit his massive fortune some day. Jackie stated that he was originally intending to donate half of his wealth to charity and leaving his family the other half but recently changed his will to leave 100% for charitable causes throughout the world. The elder Chan explained: “If he is capable, he can make his own money. If he is not, then he will just be wasting my money.” Jackie also expressed regret for not sending Jaycee to the army where his son would have received “life experience and character.”

If Jaycee wants to continue living an extravagant lifestyle, his career is going to need a boost. Since 2004 Jaycee has appeared in around 20 films, most of which have been major flops. Jaycee’s 2012 movie “Double Trouble” became one of the biggest box office failures in history grossing just $9000 at the box office, despite heavy marketing and promotion. He also starred alongside his father in 2010′s “1911″ which became Jackie’s worst performing movie ever.

Jackie is not the only celebrity who plans on giving their fortune to charity instead of their children. Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and Ebay founder Pierre Omidyar are some of the more notable billionaires who have pledged their entire fortunes to charity. Buffett is an especially staunch opponent of what he calls “dynastic wealth” (wealth that is so vast it creates generational dynasties). Buffett refers to anyone who grew up wealthy as a “member of the lucky sperm club” and, like Jackie Chan, firmly believes that if his children work hard enough they can achieve great success the same way he did.

BrymO vs Chocolate City – Statement From BrymO’s Management

Latest from Brymo‘s camp in relation to the ongoing dispute between Chocolate City Entertainment and former artiste, Brymo

“On the 30th of October 2013, a meeting was held between Brymo, his Management and representatives of Chocolate City at the Chocolate City office.

This was one of many prior attempts at reaching a mutually acceptable resolution of the conflict between the Artiste and the Record Label.

After deliberations at the meeting, certain terms were agreed between the parties and Chocolate City promised to capture the terms in an agreement to be signed by both parties.

A few days later, Chocolate City sent in a plan with terms which were not reflective of the deliberations and agreements at the said meeting. A similar occurrence had taken place in June when lawyers representing Chocolate City promised to hand Brymo a Statement of Release from the label on the condition that he would give up his (#SonOfaKapenta) album to the label.

The artiste had insisted that Chocolate City has no right to the work as he still possessed the rights to the work and the lawyers had failed to provide the release even after Brymo agreed to give up the said album.

Please note that the artiste’s initial decision to release his work/ earnings was done in good faith and with a desire to reach an amicable settlement. It is becoming apparent that Chocolate City is not acting in the same spirit of good faith.

The artiste elected to sever relationships with Chocolate City in May 2013 when Chocolate City consistently failed to fulfill its obligations under the contract. And rather than resolve amicably, the label is devising strategies to ensure that the Artiste remains unproductive.

Brymo asserts that under the circumstances of the creation, nature, execution and implementation of his contract with Chocolate City, he is well within his rights as an Artiste and if no amicable resolution is reached, will be willing to defend same under the provision of the Law.

Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi has replaced SC Heerenveen striker Uche Nwofor with Toronto FC forward Bright Dike in his squad for the upcoming clashes with Ethiopia and Italy ignoring in form Ezequil Imoh.

I Beat Taiwo Awoniyi To Discourage Him From Football – Dad

Mr Solomon Awoniyi, father of Golden Eaglets’ striker, Taiwo Awoniyi, said he used to beat his son to discourage him from playing football.
Awoniyi on Sunday at his Gbagba residence, Ilorin, said that he never knew Taiwo would play football to global level.
He said the football career of his son started during his elementary school days, noting that he (Taiwo) would always disappear from the house to play football and the whole family would be looking for him.
Awoniyi praised the efforts of Taiwo’s coach, Rasaq Olojo, whom he said discovered and nurtured him.
He said the striker was part of the team that participated in a Coca Cola competition in Ibadan, which later earned him a trip to London in 2010, where former Nigerian football stars Nduka Ugbade and Seyi Olofinjana, spotted him.
He disclosed that Taiwo Awoniyi was voted the most valuable player and came home with the award from London in 2010.
Awoniyi, a retired Police Officer, said he was happy to watch his son represent Nigeria in a world tournament.
