ASUU finally calls off strike

The news filtered in yesterday but it wasn't confirmed. It's now been confirmed. After more than five months, the Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities (ASUU) has officially called off its strike action starting from today November 17th.

The strike was called off after a meeting in Minna, Niger State yesterday, days after ASUU signed a new agreement with the Federal Government. Congratulations, students!

‘Fast & Furious’ Star Paul Walker Laid To Rest In Emotional Funeral

Paul Walker’s ashes were interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Saturday morning, during a private ceremony organized by the actor’s father with just family and his closest friends in attendance. Services for his friend Rodas were held on Thursday.
May his soul rest in peace. Fast and furious will never be the same without him.

US gossip site Radar Online yesterday scolded Mariah Carey in an article posted on their site, saying she shouldn't have accepted to do a gig in a country known for 'terror, death and fraud'. Beyonce sings about marriage troubles in new album

This album is Beyonce's most open yet, she doesn't hold back at all, she bares her soul & talks about everything from sex, marriage, to motherhood. In one particular track, Beyonce sings about post -pregnancy paranoia and hints at trouble in her marriage...

On the track 'Mine'ft Drake Beyonce sings,
"I’ve been watching for the signs/Took a trip to clear my mind/Now I’m even more lost/And you’re still so fine, oh my oh my/Been having conversations about breakups and separations/I’m not feeling like myself since the baby/Are we gonna even make it? Nelson Mandela was buried today December 15th at his ancestral home in Qunu after a four-hour state funeral service this morning which was attended by 5,000 people including Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson and Prince Charles
