'Naomi poured acid over herself to achieve fame & fortune' - accused attacker claims

Mary Konye, the 21 year old jealous friend being accused of attacking Naomi Oni with acid in Dec. 2012 made some shocking allegations of her own in court today. She told the courts through her lawyers that Naomi set up the attack and asked her (Mary Konye) to 'play the stalker' and throw the acid on her face, which was all part of an elaborate plan to be rich and famous.

This makes no sense to me. Why would you want to do that to yourself to be rich and famous? How many rich and famous people have their faces disfigured by acid? The things you hear. Continue...

"Stella Oduah Is A Disgrace To Nigeria" - Femi-Fani Kayode Reacts To Forgery Scandal

Femi Fani Kayode took to his Facebook page this morning to react to the alleged forgery of a University certificate by the Nigerian minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah.
Reactions continue to trail the news even as details emerge of a desperate attempt to cover up from Stella Oduah's camp.

I wonder if our igbo brothers and sisters will allege that all those that condemn Stella Oduah's shameless lies and false declarations, under oath, before the Nigerian Senate that she acquired a masters degree from some second rate American university are nothing but "igbo haters" who have a hidden agenda?
Honestly, this woman, this government, this President and all those that support them are an utter disgrace to Nigeria and to Africa. Even with all this I assure you that our President will not be able to muster the courage and decency to be firm and decisive and to fire this vampire Minister. And we all know why though we dare not say it.
We are a nation that is being governed by a bunch of scammers, cheats, liars, rogues, 419ner's, adulterers and ritualists. May God rid us of this evil and shameless government with it's inner circle and tiny cabal of desperate, heartless and greedy Jezebels

Why Senior Pastor Delayed AfroCandy's Porn Movie Release

Controversial actress Judith Opara Mazagwu, popularly known as AfroCandy, has said that the long Christmas and New Year holiday delayed the release of her soft-porn new movie, Destructive Instinct.
Senior Pastor Delayed AfroCandy's Porn Movie Release
AfroCandy said the Alaba marketer that will handle the Nigerian release of the movie told her that she has to hold on till the end of the festive season before sending the film to various stores across the country as there are too many works scheduled for release at that period.
“I didn’t know until 24 December that we would not be able to meet the 26 December date that had been planned for the Nigerian release of my movie because of the holidays. My agents didn’t tell me on time as I have been disturbing them about getting my fans to see the complete movie,” AfroCandy said.

$3,800 World’s Most Expensive Soap Unveiled In Qatar

The “most expensive soap in the world,” made of pure gold dust, olive oil and virgin honey and embedded with diamonds, was unveiled by Khan Al-Saboun Bader Hassoun and Sons at the Qatar Pool and Spa 2013 at the Doha Exhibition Centre recently.

Weighing around 100gm and with a price tag of $3,800, the soap dubbed ‘Qatar Royal Soap’ with the word ‘Qatar’ in Arabic inscribed on it, is being dedicated to Qatar and its great achievements in many fields, especially in winning the bid to host the FIFA 2022 World Cup.

Khan Al-Saboun Bader Hassoun and Sons chairman Dr Bader Hassoun explained that the soap was specially made for royalty aside being beneficial for the skin due to its natural and organic contents.
“Our company, based in Lebanon, has been known for specialising in natural and organic beauty products for years and we have very committed patrons due to this specialisation,” said Dr Hassoun, whose family has been in the soap making business for over eight centuries.
He said that the soap, though highly valued, has not been produced for commercial purposes, though it was earlier reported that it will be available for sale in Al-Saboun City Center – one of the company’s six branches in Qatar.
“We have made only this one piece in order to showcase our capabilities for inventions in soap making and just to express our respects for royalty. So, the soap will not be for sale,” he maintained.
