Popular Nollywood Star, Desmond Elliot Finally Dumps Acting?

Popular Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot might have eventually quit acting if words coming out from him are to be believed.

Desmond, who is also a film director, admitted at an event held on Friday that he was no more “doing mainstream acting”.
However, he said he would still consider appearing in few movies in the future.

“In specific movies, yes. It depends on the kind of movies otherwise I leave it to the younger ones,” the actor, who is vying for a political post in 2015 said.
Though Desmond has made it clear he intends to go into politics, he has also said he would leave everything in the hands of God.
“Politics is another field I am venturing into. Governor Fashola and his predeccessor, Asiwaju  Bola Ahmed Tinubu have been truly amazing.
“It is for me to inquire from God, do you really want me to do this?," he said late last year.

Jay Z Turns Down Kanye West Best Man Offer Due To Kardashian Cameras

Jay z has rejected Kanye west's plea to be his best man at his upcoming wedding to reality star Kim Kardashian due to not wanting Beyonce and daughter blue Ivy shown on the Kardashian show.
As the nuptials will be on Tv, Beyonce isn't happy about it according to sources so Jay will not participate so as not to cause a family problem.
A source explained: "Jay is Kanye's closest friend so he wants him to be best man.
Jay agreed initially but had one condition - under no circumstances can there be any reality TV shows filming him, his wife, Beyoncé or daughter Blue Ivy during the ceremony.
The thought of popping up in KUWTK mortifies Beyoncé. She purposefully keeps herself away from trashy TV and isn't prepared to lower her standards for anyone, or any occasion.
Bosses at E! are desperate to get the nuptials on air, and will pay millions to make it happen."
It’s previously been mentioned that the TV deal is already in the works especially because E! will pay for the wedding! So, what’s more important: getting the best man you want or making millions of dollars? Hopefully this will be Yeezy's one and only wedding, so it's a tough decision.

Aliko Dangote ready to redeem $1million promise to Super Eagles

Billionaire business man Aliko Dangote says he is ready to redeem his promise of awarding $1m to the Super Eagles for winning the 2013 African Cup of Nations last year in South Africa. He said this a few days after goal keeper and Super Eagles vice-captain Vincent Enyeama begged him and others who pledged various things to the team to fulfill their promises.

"We understand the busy schedule of Alhaji Dangote, we are just asking his aides to help remind him of the promise to us. It’s just a reminder to patriots who are very busy and may not have been prompted after they made their pledges, because the players are determined to bring more honours to fatherland at the forthcoming World Cup” Enyeama said

Speaking with BBC Sports, Dangote said the only reason he hasn't redeemed his promise was because nobody from the team or NFF had contacted him

"We’ve been waiting for Nigerian officials to collect the money but nobody has written to us. We will write to them, asking for the account numbers of the players, then we’ll make the transfer immediately.”

Eto'o Poses Like An Old Man To Redicule Those Who Believe He Lied About His Age

 

Chelsea FC star player Samuel Eto'o made fun of recent reports that he was closer to 40 rather than to 32 years of age mentioned in his passport.

After scoring a goal against Tottenham Hotspur in a match on March 8, 2014, Saturday, the Cameroonian celebrated the goal by posing as an old man (in the picture above).

It has been learnt Eto’o did not mind Chelsea’s manager, Jose Mourinho, incorrect joke, when the coach said he believed the Cameroonian striker was much older of his age, definitely not 32.

“I didn’t suggest the celebration but I knew about it.

“We thought it was good because the best way to defuse the situation is to make fun of it,” Mourinho commented at a post-match press conference.

By the way, Samuel Eto’o will celebrate 33rd birthday on March 10. Our best congrats to him!

It would be added that Chelsea FC crashed the Spurs 4 – 0 and comfortably leads the EPL table with 66 points after 29 matches.
